Warner Media Outlook Employee Reviews

What makes you most happy at work?

The People, The Energy from different Depts that come through our bldg....

Review from Operations Dept

the people i work with

I really enjoy what I do

The experience of being on a filming studio

My paycheck makes me happiest.

I love the team of intelligent people I have the opportunity to both learn from and work alongside. Our individual success, growth and health is also an obvious priority at the workplace.

Getting to learn new things.

Getting the job done and working hard

Review from Operations Dept

The atmosphere, culture, and perks.

Review from Operations Dept

I love getting to be around the sets and see everything happening on the lot.

My staff who work hard and care about results

My co workers and the amount of freedom I enjoy in performing my duties & responsibilities

Literally everything that does not involve my manager.

Review from Marketing Dept

Being around people and the positive vibes

My close friends and colleagues

I love my job & what I contribute, period.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

We used to be balanced and provided a service. Now if you can sell an ad in it, we will run the stoty. No matter what.

Current management team needs to value human capital more.

Senior management is out of touch with how products are most effectively built. Some divisions set highly ambitious, unrealistic expectations while others give tremendous deadline leeway to strong, charismatic (but incompetent) leaders.

Lets make work fun again

Review from Engineering Dept

Multiple huge bets that all didn't do very well. Stop spending money like crazy.

Many times our coverage is myopic. It feels that Trump is running our network and demanding that we dedicate a huge percentage of each day’s coverage to him, regardless of other newsworthy events that deserve thoughtful and s

Review from Operations Dept

Better hiring, more movement given to people that DESERVE it.

Review from Operations Dept

You never know what you are walking into, the corporate overlords at AT&T decide your department in inefficient or redundant and it needs to be excised. The company's stock price is tanking or the company is reimagining its employee benefits. All signs it's probably time to abandon ship.

Morale is really low. Feel like we don’t have a clear view of where the company is heading.

Management is growing very comfortable, the upper folks are paying themselves a hefty amount for doing almost nothing, the hourly workers are resentful and find ways to not do as much, because they don’t have any incentive to do so.

Review from Operations Dept

Departments have been gutted and replaced with outsourced companies, sometimes in other countries, and none of the replacements have been trained. As a vendor I find myself actually training the client. So much time is wasted.

Review from Operations Dept

Pretty much the whole enchilada

Too many meetings. Too much infrastructure work that gets in the way of working on new product features. We need to move to the cloud entirely so we are not always doing maintenance work.

Review from Engineering Dept

New leadership on the product side would provide coming into work each day better.

What do you like best about your company?

Not a single thing at this moment, thanks to the ATT merger and all of the related job insecurities that it brought along.

Review from Operations Dept

Lots of recognition and opportunity to work on new things.

Review from Engineering Dept

The benifits

What would you most like to see improved at your company?

Everything, including the management team.
