There is a sense of gloom with the recent AT&T merger and so everyone is extra paranoid about their jobs. The folks from Turner pretend to be the boss of all. It is a very toxic environment.

Senior management is out of touch with how products are most effectively built. Some divisions set highly ambitious, unrealistic expectations while others give tremendous deadline leeway to strong, charismatic (but incompetent) leaders.
