What is the best part about your compensation package?
We have great benefits. They still pay a majority of the insurance premium (medical/dental). They contribute to 401K as well as a life insurance policy. I've been there for 23 years and also get 5 weeks of vacation.
What makes you most happy at work?
Interacting with the regular customers who know my name and look forward to talking to me each time. I work outside so I like giving that extra little bit of help to those that might not be expected.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
There is always someone looking for the positive things that you do. We are given customer comment cards (or from other employees) when we have gone above and beyond and rewarded for that with a $6.00 meal. That always feels great.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
One of the best companies to work for! Great benefits, great team of people, great and caring company owners. I'm proud to say that I've worked for Wegmans for 23 years. They're a company that continues to grow because they put only the best products out there. Love the look of the newer stores!
