Review from Sales Dept

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I feel I could be paid more.

I used to make 2 dollars above minimum wage. Now, i am only making minimum wage. I have student loans and debt to pay off and medical bills but I turn 26 next month and i need full time benefits. I am late yes but its because im tired of being undervalued here at weis. I was on time for first 7 yrs

Review from Sales Dept

I would have felt netter if a manager receives a compliment about your department and passes it on to you. A manager should also try and promote better work environments.

Review from Sales Dept

Underpaid for the amount of people in corprate who get paid 3x what we get paid when were the ones stocking the shelves and running the registers

Review from Sales Dept

To be treated fairly and have other employees do their job

Only a 10 minute break on a 6 hour shift. I can't keep working like this. The pay is awful, I break my back and pull muscles for $400 a month. Not to mention, my mental health has tanked and the way the customers treat us employees is disgusting.

Review from Sales Dept

Stop cutting my hours. I work hard and pay attention to my job. My store manager smiles a lot and then stabs me in the back.

I have worked so hard every day and stayed late many times to help people when they need if. The manager purposely schedules herself during the easist and early possible shifts so she can go home early while constantly scheduling me full night every week, knowing that I don't want to work nights.

Better Pay, Better benefits for pt employess. Thats why 80% employees are pt, dont have to pay benefits to them.

I would like to be acknowledged when I say good morning say it back I would like to be paid more with better benefits and more hours people need to get their stuff together

Comoensation is good. 401k match is way below industry standard, no sick pay, no person days

Employees constantly treated as if they've done nothing useful even if they do countless extra tasks, endless tasks are piled on but hours keep being taken away, employees are berated no matter what. Some basic human decency would be nice. A living wage. Good hours. Managers that do work.

Shit shifts, less money for more work

Cheap worthless company far far far behind in the pay scale compared to basically every single otther grocery retailer in the area if not the lowest paying company of them all!

"No business which depends for existence on paying less than living wages to its workers has any right to continue in this country"

Review from Sales Dept

Being pushed to do all kinds of time consuming tasks while also keeping the department afloat is so stressful. Cause if you don't get the tasks done, corporate gets upset. and if you don't have a functional department, the employees and customers get upset.

You will never get good employees for 10$ an hour and expect them to do the amount of work that needs to be done.

I was never pad the compensation benefits promised at the interview, nor was I given the referral benefits, nor did my husband who I referred receive his benefits, we both do the work of 5 people successfully every day, for 10$ an hour, and get turned away when we ask for the benefits of a sign on

I do more work in my department than other departments and I feel everyone in the deli should be getting more/ I also think I should because I have been employed there over 2 years and am a very reliable employee

I work 40+ hours a week for 4$ less than claim I should be making
