Weis Markets Leadership Employee Reviews

What do you like best about the leadership team?

Good thing about them and good leadership

They help you any way they can.

Stacy & Kim Rock when it comes to respect Sharing responsibility and given opportunity for people getting to learn new things.

Cares about associates and compassionate

They are flexible with scheduling most of the time

Review from Sales Dept

Easy to talk to and feel comfortable

They are always very polite

Open to hearing our opinions

Some people are good to work with.. some employees just walk around the store talking to everyone instead of working and they go out for many smoke breaks

Never see or hear from them. Just when union started to rally, they come around.

Don't see them on the floor enough

They care about the employees

Theyre always ready to listen

They are supportive on a day to day basis, and are easy to talk to.

They are nice but sometimes brush off my complaints as I am younger

Friendly need to work on communicating information

Review from Product Dept

Weis has given me tremendous career opportunities in a short time without a full college degree. The only issues I have had are poor communication within the company and an uncompetitive starting wage making it harder to hire adult workers.

Review from Sales Dept

Nothing at all to be honest

Review from Sales Dept

They recognize people at times when they are exceeding at their job.

Review from Product Dept

Keeping good people on the job

Review from Sales Dept

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

listen better and understand their employees needs more

listening to their workers, being respectful, being communicative, being professional

Review from Sales Dept

Keep managers from giving one employee the short end of the stick every week, month after month, receiving little to no attention.

Learn to talk to associates and not to talk down on them

Review from Sales Dept

Managing, spelling, remembering, less disappearing, more involved with department procedures.

Stop playing favorites, have employees do their job.

Communication and organization is certainly needed

Communication does not exist...one could work an entire shift w/o speaking to another employee let alone store manager...appalling!!!

It has to do with Corporate, It starts environment, there is no structure to work with. Ship with out a captain. Management is moved so much from store to store, failures of the work structure happens. Leadership team is just a propaganda tool used by management.

Review from Sales Dept

Listening to suggestions from the employees

Support employees and give credit when someone is doing a good job and trying to help others .

Laying down the law and not letting people do whatever they want.

Many different things. Communication, teamwork, reliability, the list goes on.

Treating your employees like human beings, treating employees with respect, listening seriously to employees without belittling them, actually offer help and carry through on promises and solutions, better communication, less slacking off.

What leadership team? Are u serious? Weis only cares about profit. It is so so so painfully obvious. Lie to your customers and make as much money as possible while churning through thousands of employees a year instead of taking care of the good ones. pathetic

They could start being leaders, rather than just managers.

Review from Sales Dept

Comminication between management team and employees

Stop saying you will take care of things without ever following through

Management training, attention to employee achievement

they need to learn how to communicate better so everyone can be on the same page. they also need to stop holding dounle standards.
