Wiley Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Wiley PTO policy is excellent

The insurance is Aetna, and I have personally had few issues with them. YMMV, but as a trans person, it is reassuring to know my insurance at least covers the care I need. The OOP cost is comparable to other companies.

it pays a lot of money and gives a lot of benefits

In a tough economy, I am managing -- able to provide a comfort level to my family and I am able to help/give to others.

Review from Marketing Dept

Paid time off and holidaies

The number of vacation days and holidays provided.

It is fair as per industry standards. It also comes with a yearly incentive which provides a lumpsum of amount at once.

Tons of vacation and a good bonus

Health saving account, 401A, and bonus

The best part is the bonus incentive

Base salary is too good

Profit sharing at end of year

Health insurance and 401k matching

Review from Marketing Dept

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I feel as a south african citizen I'm not well recognized and no opportunity for growth

At this point in my career, it is not longer about compensation. I know I can get higher compensation somewhere else. it is making an impact and be excited about the mission.

I work very hard and get very average pay

If they were to research market rates and compensate fairly

A raise in base and bonus

Higher salary. Salary that is commensurate with job skills rather than 'competitive' within the shockingly low-paid publishing industry. Annual salary increase that isn't effectively a pay cut due to inflation. Pay bands for transparency and equity.

No annual salary increases. HR says salaries are supposed to be adjusted to market average, but this rarely happens.
