Williams-Sonoma Leadership Employee Reviews

What do you like best about the leadership team?

The communication is great good vibes

Store leadership team works extremely hard to ensure daily goals are met, supporting Sales Associates, processing and placing large quantities of new inventory, aggresively changing store displays

They are all very helpful without being rude or demeaning

Review from Customer Support Dept

Leadership is easily accessible, most of the time.

The district and in store managers are great. We have a healthy work environment where we all help out. I love my team and they are the reason i stay working for william sonoma

We have an excellent leadership team. They are compassionate about the store and are supportive to the staff.

They work together to give our customers the best experience possible.

Very knowledgeable respectful and a pleasure to work with

They invite product managers to pitch our best ideas.

Review from Product Dept

They are dedicated to their jobs

Each team member is polite, co-operative and overall a positive enviornment

They know how to look the part.

Empowerment to staff all the time

Kind and great and most want you to sucess

You only hear from them when they want to gripe

Accessible but not understanding of day to day responsibilities

My lead is seriously amazing. She's a hard worker, problem solver, and I love working with her.

positivity, motivation, helping when needed

Transparency and humility. The team cares.

Review from Sales Dept

My leadership at all levels has been inspiring, encouraging, and open-minded

Review from Operations Dept

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

inspiring people and creating a creative work place

Listening to employee complaints and stop gossipping about everyone.

Acknowledge the work of their employees and pay them fair wages. Stop expecting more for less. Stop restricting employees' access to basic needs like water and breaks.

Accountability and follow up. Most of all communication.

Authenticity is lacking, genuine care for employees well being and career path

having respect for their people

The corporate offices need to be more aware of the workloads given to the stores.

Executives are approachable and insightful

Training new employees and not throwing them under the bus. Also communication.

Hold leadership accountable of their actions pertaining to associates and hold them accountable for being present and access able to their own schedules

Listen to the workers. We are the company.

Review from Operations Dept

Leadership comunication skills organization poor training

Communication, honesty, work ethic, dependability

Management is a bunch of liars and scumbags

Review from Sales Dept

Communication. Stop lining pockets with employees bonuses.

They say they're "people first". This is far from the truth. They just keep pilling more and more work onto the retail gm's and expect everything to get done all while cutting payroll.

needs to actually communicate to everyone

Review from Operations Dept

Paying attention to anything other than the bottom line. Logistic are atrocious. Poor and rude communicators.

You need to actually teach your employees and not place them to do theses modules with a wall of text on point less information about CEO's every single module! Instead teach them about the program. Also, you need an instructor to guide employees to practice not to have them on their own.

Training in the area of professionalism and management skills.
