Williams-Sonoma Team Employee Reviews

What are some of the best things about your team?

We are a team and always help each other.

They're willing to help each other.

The team members other than management are kind and decent.

We care about our work. For the most part we enjoy working together. We are mature and have diverse backgrounds and past work experience which enhance the sales experience

We all strive for greatness

Review from Customer Support Dept

some of the most creative, hardworking and smart people

They are hardworking and we get along well.

They are hardworking and friendly.

They are dedicated to their job

They are all in the same sinking ship and we can commiserate about how awful things are with upper management.

They're nice enough people. Some are supportive.

How close and helpful we are. Its really unmatched

They were motivated by the positive reinforcement I would personally give. Id use my "bonus" money to buy pizza and donuts on the weekends.

They are helpful and fun to work with

Being able to work together to complete an assignment. It's the people in authority management etc that makes coming to work dreadful.

We work well together and help one another to get the job done.

They do their best to support each other in a toxic culture

They are very helpful in the time of need

They’re helpful and easy to get along wit

They are gripe sessions only, employees do not speak, they type, questions may or may not be answered

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

I don't interact with coworkers often enough to judge them. The ones I do interact with are a coin toss and will either help or they won't. We'd work better together if we had established teams and systems to work with each other within.. not just queues and metrics.

Coworkers need to stop bullying other coworkers. Do the job they are getting paid for.

I think more yram bonding

Even work load so everyone gets their fair share of the work

I think the employees need to speak out about the underhanded treatment that's coming from corporate.

they need to work and not stand around

Review from Operations Dept

Do their job right the first time.

All managers are in the same situation. Some struggle more than others.

co-workers are not allowed to communicate with one another

They need to get off their backsides and work.

Review from Operations Dept

Training, better pay, accountable, duty

They could actually work and not stand around doing nothing. Our dept is swamped with work and my teammates are useless. I have to go behind them and fix what they choose not to do. Our dept could be great if my teammates would actually work.

All remote so no interaction with other employees.

Review from Customer Support Dept

STOP USING THEIR AUTHORITY AS A BULLYING TACTIC

Review from Customer Support Dept

Too concerned with petty internal politics, gossiping and placing blame on others. It is a very toxic culture and people that work here have completely bought into this.

Review from Operations Dept

Better training. Seasonal employees lack training needed to address simple issues. Many are more concerned with their stats than providing good service.

Review from Customer Support Dept

Communication is a key thing. Plus upper management should not force us to work more than 10 hours every day.

Customer service skills, communication, not stealing sales

Review from Sales Dept

Last meeting the sup complained about being busy. She is not able to answer questions, says she will find out then no follow up.
