Mr. David W. Gibbs has been the President and Chief Financial Officer of Yum! Brands, Inc. since May 2, 2016. Mr. Gibbs served as the Chief Executive Officer of Pizza Hut, Inc., at Yum! Brands, Inc. from January 1, 2015 to May 2, 2016 and President until December 2014. He is responsible for overseeing Pizza Hut, including the development of a global growth strategy for it. He is an outstanding business leader, with strong strategic and brand building skills and a demonstrated ability to work effectively with franchisees, share best practices and build people capability. Mr. Gibbs has more than twenty years of experience in finance, corporate strategy, real estate development and e-commerce. Mr. Gibbs served as President of Pizza Hut Business of US from January 7, 2014 to December 31, 2014. Mr. Gibbs joined Yum! Brands, Inc. in 1989. He served as the President and Chief Financial Officer for YUM Brands International. He began his career in development and his roles included Vice President of Development at KFC and at YUM U.S. Since 2006, he served as Chief Financial Officer of Pizza Hut in the U.S., then to Chief Financial Officer at Yum! Restaurants International. He served as President of YRI. During that time, he improved the business model at Pizza Hut and led the development of a new vibrant restaurant asset base and significant supply chain savings. Mr. Gibbs joined the restaurant division of Pepsico in 1989, which later became part of Yum! Brands. He served in a variety of executive roles with Yum! Brands, including Chief Strategy Officer of Yum! Restaurants International. He has been an Independent Director at Sally Beauty Holdings Inc. since March 3, 2016.
