Hot Topic: The subcultures and aesthetic of the customers was fantastic. The overwrought and meandering opening, closing, and sales procedures, however, were highly draining. I worked at several locally owned businesses in Cape, and none of them required a closing procedure which took upwards of three hours.

Vornado Realty Trust: Hourly employees are not being compensated for overtime worked. Management repeatedly denies employees pre-requests for OT after realizing it will be necessary. Management advises employees to flex off the OT hours, despite no ability to do this. The employees are losing money earned through work.

Camping World: Most of it was good, but there was a moderate to high amount of belittling and poking holes in each other's confidence. The onboarding process was not consistent and not followed up to ensure that concepts taught in rapid fire got absorbed and implemented.

Chubb: I was happier at ACE than the new Chubb. I really like my current job, manager, and teammates, but am very concerned that, despite great reviews, I will not advance and might even be effectively demoted. Management expects my full investment in my job, but they are clearly not invested in me.

Speedway: I enjoy working there however the new manager is not respecting what the previous manager had told me about having full time hours. She does not listen to the issues surrounding this and the days I am able to work or not. She does not communicate well or convey a positive message.

Davey Resource Group: Overall it has had its good and its bad, like most jobs. The company and the employers do not just offer you things just based on your employment, but you are rewarded based on how long you stay, your own personal drive, and your loyalty to the company. It can be difficult, but has made me bettter.

The Walsh Group: Walsh is a huge company. It has a very corporate, military type leadership coming from the main office in Chicago. But the Seattle office does things differently, while we still have all the resources and backing from headquarters. So much opportunity at Walsh. 18 regional offices.
Eataly USA: Eataly is growing fast, so its a very exciting place to be working.
