Acelero recently took hundreds per month out of the pockets of all of their "boots on the ground" employees; i.e. the people doing the actual work. they did this during historic inflation and insultingly tried to spin it as "well that's just the market rate" your employees are struggling and leaving
aside from my director, all leadership/executive leadership demonstrably does not care about the teachers in their classrooms. I have had the displeasure of having to work at sites other than my own, and a blind eye is turned to awful work culture. money for the higher ups is all Acelero cares about
I basically won the lottery by happening to end up at the only good acelero site to work at in nevada. There are no cliques, my director is supportive, my coworkers are supportive, and it makes us strong. but even that is starting to change. quality people leave because the company doesn't value us.
The only reason I still work for acelero is that I happened to get hired at a great site. all of their other sites (in my experience) are awful. the people are awful to one another, and I have personally watched quality staff get bullied into leaving by awful teachers who teach children to fear them
honestly the upper management could stand to come to the sites more, and they could more than stand to see how these sites actually function day to day. Everyone acts better when their boss in the room, but it's a front. I have seen a teacher force feed a child out of anger and that is the tip of it
