
My colleagues and the thought that what I do affects thousands of children and families positively. I also enjoy the connections I make with partners and traveling to meet new people and share ideas.
I like the broad range of knowledge and skill that they have, and that a few of them are open to listening to the ideas of the staff who do the on-the-ground and client-facing work.
I believe that we have a history of inaccurate market value pay scales and a lack of transparency and that at times I have found that the pay scales are different even when people doing similar jobs.
Their willingness to work together as a team and their passion for the work that we do with children and families and our partners. I feel that I learn a great deal from the teams I am surrounded with on a regular basis and I love how much I can be my true authentic myself within my close team.
