It's been great. The work is great and meaningful. The market dictates how much work there is so if the market is slow, then you're hurting for something to do. Advancement isn't great in certain positions. Sometimes the only way to advance is for your direct manager to retire or move on.

It's never a dull moment, the stories and antics never end, I just wish their work ethic was a bit better.

As a drilling reservist, I like that they work with my drill schedule. I go away on military orders quite frequently and have never once had a complaint from leadership about me having to go away.

The work. I enjoy seeing the work I do manifest into a structure being built in my community. Knowing my work had a part to play in that makes me happy to come to work.
Pourquoi vous sentez-vous sous-évalué et qu’est-ce qui vous rassurerait par rapport à votre rémunération?
I feel that our annual pay increase of 3% is not in keeping with the current rate of inflation. Even with making 3% more with every passing year, when compared to inflation, I now make less than what I did when I started over 8 years ago. And if we want more than 3% raise, we get kick back.
