Chegg has a wonderful array of smart people who work incredibly hard. Sometimes it's hard to see and appreciate their hard work given all of the politics, angling, and short-sighted business decisions. Most innovative ideas don't have a long runway to play out before leadership abandons it.

Chegg has an amazing platform, great reach with learners, and has attracted some really smart and amazing people to work here. There is gross negligence in LS senior leadership (VP+), horrendous leadership practices, and lack of clear strategic direction that make everyone want to leave.

Tops down leadership, lack of investment and belief that a product is a worthwhile function, lack of psychological safety for communicating concerns, lack of autonomy in deciding what we work on or how it's done. Suggestion is to remove top leaders in LS who embody that dysfunction.
