I really like the mission, culture, and values and I think there are certain roles here that would be great. But on the tech side the org seems not to share my goals of working with modern, performant, well-engineered, well-maintained code enough to invest in reaching that state in this decade

I know that I am paid below market average by Chegg's own salary band. Merit increases do not keep up with the market making existing employees underpaid relative to new hires and "punishing" us for staying put. Stock is not a reliable way to account for this as we've all learned in recent months
