I like my job. I just wish that the executives in the company realized the challenges we face daily. They say they do, but then do the complete opposite. The hiring pool is very limited. There is no advancement for store managers, all DD's are hired form outside.

I enjoy what I do or I would have quit. Ive been doing this a long time and at SNS we seem to want to re-invent the wheel. The business is a simple one made to feel more difficult by those at corp who either have never worked in the store, or not worked there in a long time.

Some not all you can vent to. Some are there to help with situations that may arise during the day.

That they seem to be driven, but sometimes at the cost of the store level employees. There is way too much pressure on the store managers.

Seems as though those store managers hired off the street are paid better. Also there seems to be some disparity between what male and female store managers are paid.

Work is challenging. Everyone that doesn't work in the stores thinks everything is so easy, the truth is that we can't hire people. Corp acts as if we are fully staffed.

I think the CEO is personable. To many initiatives at one time. Need to pick one a nd drive it. At store level, we are bogged down with surveys, conf calls, webinars, and not enough focus on the sales floor, our associates or our customers.

When it comes to the bonus, to be kept in the dark until its paid is silly. The executive team knows the numbers, why not share them. It just makes it look as though someone is playing with the numbers. There is a big difference in exempt pay.

SNS seems to want to do the right thing for its customers and associates. This sometime fall short due to the inability to properly staff the stores partially due to the non-competetive hiring rates for pt assoc and the extremely low rate increase from pt to ft and ft tp dept mgr.
