Communicate openly, seem to genuinely care about their people.
Generally we are able to joke around and have fun with each other. The chaotic nature of the restaurant doesn't make this always possible, but that's the environment we're striving for.
the culture of the company is amazing and supportive. The problem is that doesn't always translate well to the individual restaurants that are sometimes just trying to get through a day.
I dedicated almost all of my being, body and mind, inside and outside of work to trying to make this store great for the people who work here, but still find myself living check to check, barely able to support my family.
Having to constantly be the beacon of positive energy in the restaurant is extremely tasking. Some days are great and coming to work is exciting and fun, but the negative attitudes of other crew/managers or the looming threat of call offs makes coming to work more dreadful than exciting.
