What does the leadership team need to get better at?
In store managers are doing their best with what they are given. Chipotles Corporate management is too focused on penny pinching and ensuring they make the max possible profit while not supporting their instore employees properly. The newfound corporate culture of chipotle has led to its downfall.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
My compensation does not properly compensate for the amount of work, unrealistic standards, and stress that is put upon every single in store manager and crew member that works for this company

Inflation and cost of living increases are 7%+ in the nation but Chipotle baseline increase was 3%. Also not accounting for the market increases for accounting in which we are bringing in new talent higher but not giving the market bump for retained talent

Year end comp budget constraints are placing top performing individuals under market as the market rapidly expands. I want to remain at Chipotle long-term and it is difficult not to explore other opportunities when performance feedback is not equivalent to comp scale to market.

I feel that pay rates should be re-evaluated to better retain employees in the RSC. Due to new hires requiring more pay when being onboarded, I feel as a manager that I do not make a significant amount more than the employees that I lead, which is frustrating.

What are some of the best things about your team?
For some reason chipotle attracts high value, hard working, and enthusiastic teams. Every single team members I've had the pleasure to work with has made this job bearable and one of the only reasons I am still here today.
