They are very driven for success - which is great. But their means are very archaic and seem to be inefficient and unproductive.
There needs to be proactive EXTERNAL training of employees. Not internal trainings that seem very old-school and weirdly not relevant to US employees. Also we need systems that make people more productive. The systems we use here are getting in the way of productivity
Hard to say - LG seems like a weird outlier sometimes, but having out healthcare is maybe one really great thing we all agree on as being very positive, but in context it always seems like a basic necessity and more should be done for culture and employees
It feels like we are just a number here. I have worked so many nights/weekends and beyond the expected 40-50 hours and instead of being rewarded it sets a precedent that I'm a work horse that should be given more work. Very counterproductive and burns people out like this.
The leadership, weirdly enough, doesn't seem to understand they are IN THE WAY of success. LG needs to get out of its own way and run like a company in 2021, not something with archaic tools/systems. We don't even have basic email like outlook/gmail. We use a system that is outdated & inefficient.
