Management is having trouble keeping top talent at the firm because they implement processes from Korea HQ, and get mad when American employees push back or make suggestions for a better process. Management's perspective is: "Why are Americans bad at following procedures"

I find that my position in the market is compensated much higher than I am in LGE. LGE is usually infamous for a high turnover due to below average compensation while high overtime. I believe LGE can compensate its employees with above average salary as a market leading company.

Do not compare US salary level to Korean salary level and make the decision. Match up the salary level competitive to other global companies. What you pay is what you get!

Base pay is significantly below the Payscale.com for my role and experience. 40-60% below what recruiters in the local market are reaching out with offers, it is making it difficult for me to stay at LG as I don't think LG would try to retain me.

They always say "let me confirm with the vendor/business partners." LG should review people's skills and stop promoting or giving raises.

- Do not think the "LG WAY" is the only way. Acceptable to changes. - Give up your status quo (FSEs, Partleaders, team leaders) - Hire the right people in the right positions. Let some people go! - Give more authority to all exempted employees

What are our goals, and what is our future? Domestically, we are seeing companies like Apple, Tesla, Microsoft and Samsung continue to innovate; but LG is pulling out of key markets like smartphones etc.

I am underpaid and management doesn't appreciate the American worker's work capabilities or work style. They think that Americans have low work ethic and are low quality.

Just no motivation and not appreciated. A little bit of verbal appreciation or feedbacks would be great which I have never had for the recent 3 yr except one occasion when I brought up to my boss that I got a job offer 2 yr ago.

HR offers flex time, but our Director does not approve. We have to make up time to have summer hours, so it's not a real perk, micromanagement is bad here
