The company moves us around so often you can not get solid footing in any store. As soon as the team starts gaining ground another exempt is moved out of store. Seems to be a major issue in past couple years.

I really like my direct boss because they are very down to earth and treats all associates like they are human. This is honestly hard to come by in this company.

Honestly, at this point everything is so micromanaged and audited that it makes the job very stressful. Hiring exempts that can't handle the job and expecting store manager to be on call 24/7 for every little issue is ruining our quality of life.

We have hired some new exempts that are not at exempt level of experience or education. This is making the store managers work life balance very poor. This new ASMs are not capable of the job and it takes over a year to hold them accountable.

The scale for paying external managers shouldn't be higher then current managers. I could negotiate a higher rate of pay with other grocers but but instead I chose to be loyal to my company. When I see external managers being paid substantially more then myself or others it is very disappointing.
Qual é a coisa mais positiva da cultura e do ambiente da sua empresa?
As a company we seem to genuinely care about the environment and have many successful programs to be sustainable. However, the culture of overworking is toxic. It is fully understood as an exempt that you are scheduled an hour lunch that you are not allowed to take. You are expected to eat and work.
