The most positive thing about my work environment is when my shift is over and Im not surrounded by narcissistic, egotistical, entitled, lazy and rude "people".
Insurance is an issue bc the system doesn't always work right or the customers believe their right when they're not. Walgreens's text messages are almost nvr accurate which causes confusion and frustration when customers pick up their prescription which then leads to long lines and more rudeness.
Leading. The "team" doesn't work together. People leave in the middle of their shift or just quit w/o warning. We're told "no set schedules" yet certain members have just that. If you mess up your punch in time, the manager wont fix it unless you harass them. Its very skeptical and untrustworthy
There is a hero complex and ego issues in the pharmacy. Some will barge themselves into your work space with being asked. Others are lazy and do the minimum just to get by which leaves the pharmacy in chaos and makes customers very angry bc it affects the people who are actually trying to work.
I was told by my manager that I would not receive holiday pay for working Halloween-New Years bc "I haven't been working there long enough". Also, $15/hr for 8hrs diem is only $120 before taxes but the amount of work thats put on us is of way greater value. This is why I dont trust Walgreens's.
