The environment was friendly and welcoming. All my questions were answered. The manager was professional and spoke highly of the company.
Being more responsive and actually communicate with their cashiers. There are always coaching moments so use them instead of being quick to give write ups because you can. No team works well off misdirection and silence.
Communication from all mgt and new management understanding us cashiers know what the needs and wants of our customers. Massive change will just make them question all the sudden changes and why there's so much tension in the air when they walk right through the door.
Their positivity. Nobody wants to hear about how bad they dislike their job. We all need to be to work out our problems with each other if we are going to succeed as a team. One person should not have to pick up the slack for everyone else.
We should be able to have sick days outside of our normal pto. Having sick children or being sick should never count against you. They company has a lot of single parent households with no extra support. Pto needs to be given at a higher rate per shift.
The pay I receive is horrible for all the work that I do. Once you start cross training in other departments, you should be able to make a little more. It's something you've had to learn outside of just being a cashier. Do away with the review process. Mgt only give good to those they favor most.
