Bank of America Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Cash Bonus and stock awards.

Not so much compensation--but benefits.

Review from HR Dept

Price and took care of me in the past.

Review from Operations Dept

It is guarenteed if I actually perform or dont. Would be nice if it motivated me to work harder but quite easy just to flop around.

Review from Business Development Dept

Benefits and profit sharing are one of the best

All the benefits and the great time off plus sick and personal days!

Pretty good bonus its nice

The opportunity to bonus based on performance

FA compensation keeps me at a livable wage

receiving a performance incentive that's over 2 million in various asset forms

Nothing much it was just my basic hourly

Comp by financial advisors make up majority of income

FMLA, PTO, wellness package, vacation, medical insurance

Review from Operations Dept

great hourly pay for entry roles and excellent 401 k matching

Review from Customer Support Dept

Annual performance bonuses combined with other stock, stock option and wealth choice incentives.

Review from Finance Dept

Good benefits, good salary given relative cost of living.

Review from Design Dept

It allows me to get myself things as luxuries and such.

Review from Business Development Dept

Excellent health insurance options and good company 401(k) match

Review from Operations Dept

401k and they match it dollar for dollar

Review from Marketing Dept

Health insurance is pretty good and the 401k matching is a good deal.

Review from Operations Dept

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Getting the same opportunities as the “inner crow

Not a good package for experience.

Raises above or at least even to inflation. A system for boni could be implemented.

alot of work but not enough pay

Need to match industry standards

The pay is low compared to other banks. Benefits are probably better than most but unless you're about to have a kid not sure it's worth it.

Review from Operations Dept

It's not just my salary, I have too many tasks to complete in 8 hours, my goals are unreasonable and I am micro managed constantly. Even if BOA paid me double I would still look for employment elsewhere. The culture is the worst.

Pay is not the same for the similar roles across the org. 401k match is measly compared to other firms

Was E\E for 10 years and now M/M doing the same job but better with no reason to drop

Fair pay. People under me have much higher comp packages.

More competitive base salary to the current market. Eight

More awareness of keeping up with market trends on pay.

Performing the same job as more senior people but getting paid less

Lack of pay vs peers

Lack of recognition for contribution to firm's success; compensation is not market.

High performance reviews does not really line up with bonuses paid and compensation.

Pays 1/3 below market for key positions in middle management, couple that with a reduction in benefits when employees reach $100k. I have been at $101 for three years, and it costs me ~$8,500 out of pocket in medical benefits annually. And no adjustment for cost of living in areas like NY, LA, SF

Review from Admin Dept

The pay is at/above minimum wage and if you live in less expensive cities and towns you really can benefit. Otherwise the pay is ok. A uniform stipend and paid lunch breaks would make a decent difference. Also allowing vacation time to rollover or using more than one week at a time would be great

Review from Finance Dept

New opportunity would feel better
