Although the pay is not what it should be, CECO is a great company to work for and all of the people I work with are incredible! I love working for a company with leadership that cares!
Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
I have been with the company for over a decade now and the people are amazing. It would be great if they could get my salary up to where it was before bonus' were lost. Inflation has hit very hard and pay has not kept up with it.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
They truly care about each person.
What makes you most happy at work?
Feeling helpful. I like to make a difference and serve my company well.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Although my pay is sub par, they are working to rectify this as quickly as possible.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We truly work as a team and a family for the best interest of CECO. We may have disagreements but we always work them out.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Caring and teamwork is exemplified from the top down. We are encouraged to take care of our families and ourselves as well as the company.
What makes you most happy at work?
Getting things done without too many errors and saving the company money. I love it when I can save thousands on one purchase order.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We truly work as a team! This is driven by our leadership and I really appreciate it! The caring that shows from leadership is spread from employee to employee and it makes our company a great place to work.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I don't feel undervalued exactly. The pay has been sub-par since the bonus program was removed. I feel they are trying to rectify the situation but it takes time and it is difficult to support my household on my current salary.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I like that they care about employees and our success in the company. I like that they are beginning to take steps to better prepare us for our jobs and they are beginning to remedy the lack of resources we have been dealing with for years.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I would feel better about my compensation if it were enough to pay the bills in today's economy. I know there are rules about how much of a raise they can give but I feel I have been underpaid for years. I do appreciate that they are working to remedy the situation.
