More professionalism from the top down (a lot of leaders lack basic professionalism).
It was laid back and easy to get through. If you're remotely competent, you'll get through fine.
It comes down to leaders. More effective leaders with respect for their employees will have a positive impact.
Actual management - store-level managers lack leadership & motivational skills. I have experienced a lot of instances of them treating employees poorly.
There is a lot asked of employees with little room to earn more money. Raises are hard to come by and small when they do.
More willingness to help from management. Some managers are willing to jump in and help as needed but there are a lot that feel it's not their job to do and won't help.
