What does the leadership team need to get better at?
A lot if things and quit showing favoritism it make u not even want to work for food lion

I feel that they make up rules and regulations as they go along and they have all these policies but there is no union to help the associate. This creates a very one-sided relationship with managers giving demanding a lot out of the associate without them really knowing if this is in guidelines.

My co-workers could smile a little more. They should try and help others out whenever there not busy. They should have better communication with each other. They should also try and work like a team. Stop going to the bathroom 5 times in 5 hours.

He definitly needs to add more questions to his "list" and needs to run all teh procedures beforehand. He needs to get to know his people better.

Atleast trying to be honest with the people. Try to actually show them how to do the job. Not just show them the bull crap that most people wont even see or do. Just a waste of time.

They should interview more people in a positive way instead of looking at them like there dumb when they come in for interview. I think management or anyone in the front office working should always have a smile on there face welcoming people not pushing them away.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
I actually have a lot to say. One major problem is that the managers do not care about our health as they should. More than a handful of our associates has caught COVID-19. They still act as if it is a common cold. Some of us feel very uncomfortable going to work since the pandemic is still rising.

As stated before I feel like we are being taken advantage of and there is no real way to know for ourselves. If we ask the manager we suspect of doing the wrong if we can have confirmation, then we can easily get misdirected.
