It is an okay experience. I do enjoy being a personal shopper but that does come with some negatives. It is hard to be taken seriously during this time when you have bad store management and people not working together for the common good.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I do have some good relationships with some of my co-workers.
What would you improve about your company's interview process?
He definitly needs to add more questions to his "list" and needs to run all teh procedures beforehand. He needs to get to know his people better.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
It would be easier for us to work together if we all valued work in general. Some people just don't care, that simple. Others, like myself, devote lots of time and energy. We need better communication and team spirit.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I am a food lion to go shopper. Food lion to go has been a challenge at times. Our team has lots of drama and I am the one that they rely on the most in my opinion. I feel as though I need to be recognized more for my work .
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
I actually have a lot to say. One major problem is that the managers do not care about our health as they should. More than a handful of our associates has caught COVID-19. They still act as if it is a common cold. Some of us feel very uncomfortable going to work since the pandemic is still rising.
