It seems to be getting worse each year. There is more and more expected with few people to get the job done. If you hurry to meet deadlines then you are punished, but if you work thoroughly and don't meet the deadline you are punished too. Perfection is expected without realizing we are humans.

My team communicates and works well together. We share knowledge with each other and understand that we succeed as a team.

Treating each other as adults. We know what needs to be done and we do it. My team is good at this, but other teams seems to want to micromanage which causes a lot of friction.

One clear direction. We are being directed by too many teams, Business Automation, Operations, IT, Business Intelligence, Compliance, in addition to trying to keep up with general maintenance for our clients. None of these teams work together to ensure deadlines are coordinated. We are not perfect

Other people with my same job title and responsibilities make 20K more per year and also earn a yearly bonus. Same titles should be paid closer to the same amount. This is especially evident when a new employee comes into the company making more than a 20+ year existing employee.

There is no positive encouragement. Every day its what didn't get done, what was done wrong, what needs to be better. There is no acknowledgement for a getting a big task completed or for just doing your job. How can you be excited about coming to work knowing you're going to be beat down?
