Management needs training. Workers allowed to treat each other badly. When things are escalated to management they are "addressed" = swept under the rug, and the behaviors continues. Certain employees are allowed to curse out, physically harass, and intimidate others. It needs to be addressed.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Overall fair the compensation package is comparable to other similar positions at other companies.
What did you like most about the interview process?
The group being down to earth and realistic in their discussions of the company and position.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Management not just listening to problems, but acting to address them. Following up on them to make sure there are actual changes.
What makes you most happy at work?
When I am able to do my job, meet goals and deadlines, and interact with coworkers knowing I and those around me will be respected.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Coworkers need to be shown by management that there are limits on how they can treat each other. I am tired of seeing on a daily basis individuals acting completely opposed to our company goals, treating coworkers badly, but having no consequences to create incentives for change.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Managing their employee relations. If you focus only on the company bottom line by ignoring big negative issues going on in your workforce, it leads to good, dedicated workers choosing to leave the company who otherwise would have stayed. BFS has to pay to train new people, and the cycle continues.
