What are some of the best things about your team?
Our store is close. We go out to do things together. Most stores do not have that because they are always overwhelmed by the unrealistic workload
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Not company driven but GM driven, Current store has old school chipotle vibes. Every other store I have seen everyone is miserable trying to run TP with 8 people vs 12 on a shift like we use to have before a busy DML.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
People make more at a theme park then our SM's and SM drive the shifts. Tipping rolling out will have crew making more than managers. Why would anyone want to do more work for less money? Understand the new type of employee, they are not the same as 15 years ago.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Stop cutting labor to the point where upholding the proper procedures can not be met. Labor has been cut by over 30% since Scott and Brian took over with minimum time saving things rolled out. The employee experience in store is not good. Lack of positive culture. Read reddit for the real picture.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Labor has been cut it is no longer if another foodborne illness outbreak it is when and will it kill someone. Exec team is stuck in old school ways with no realization of how the new employees want to be treated and not overworked. They take mental health days because its all about the bottom line
