Ive been with the company 3 years as a service manager and began my apprentice training this Feb.While training I was sexually assaulted by the GM I was sent to train with.That GM got transferred to another store and is still with the company.I was sent to another store where that GM robbed $5,000
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
My team looks after one another and we are all we have to protect ourselves and our careers from our field leader who typically jumps the gun on firing or punishing people without ever speaking to them.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
The company can improve by ENFORCING the field leaders and above to their actual restaurants to HELP and NOT supervise. It is also clear that the company doesnt consider the customer. EVERY CUSTOMER I meet knows this company is a cash grab from the local area. Food is OBVIOUSLY over priced.
What are some of the best things about your team?
The team inside of the store is the only thing worth coming to work for. My GM and crew look after each other but in my 3 years working for the company as a manager I never even met my field leader or their superiors until recently when I did a NRO.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
The company is heading in a very negative direction because the focus has shifted from being a place where employees and management are taken care of and promised a career to build, to a place where our executive team cares more about the store aspect and opening as many restaurants as we can.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
My general manager takes care of me because they are just a good person.But this is a first time experience in 3 years of working for the company because Field leaders and above DO NOT check on there stores in the southwest region.There is no oversight behind the bad managers that verbally abuse us.
