10 years in working from crew to GM. I love the team i've created all my fellow peers, but leadership above store is consistently underwhelming with thier attitude and actions, as well as changing annually. This makes it hard to see a future for myself or other leaders

What are some of the best things about your team?
People MUST be hard workers in chipotle, or they will not be able to last long.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Patch/Market Leadership shows no interest in collaboration with GM's. Feedback is not actionable and vauge; personal ideology is an obstacle for relating to subdinates. Many great GM's have left under locally poor leadership
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The public image worked to be shown is amazing. I wish the actions carried more into the well being of it's lower teir employees who ate actually making the business run day to day
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Free burritos. Healthcare is good. Salary is nice but only after many years in position with merit increases. Base pay is not "competitive" as advertised, and last two years and demenstrated weakness with 1%-2% merit increases while inflation rises and exective teams pocket millions
