I'm an intern who has prior work experience, and my Fetch has been great. I had a unique opportunity to be on two teams, and really explore my career path. This has been valuable to me as someone new to tech. I love CPG, Fetch's offering and potential. Love the independence and challenges faced.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
I'm an intern, so I can't speak to benefits or compensation packages. While I live in a big market and my hourly salary would typically be higher, it's decent for a career switcher who is new to the tech industry.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team genuinely feels like a family affair. Everyone has each other's back and is always willing to help a lending hand. I immediately felt connected when I joined my team. It's also incredibly diverse, from age to ethnicity to gender. It's awesome!
What do you like best about the leadership team?
What I like about the leadership team is their passion and excitement around the Fetch brand. Going from good to great is a mantra I can get behind. I like the goal of mindfully diversifying the leadership team. It's important to be in a company that understands the need for representation.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Culture in the time of Covid is difficult, but it seems like Fetch had a great foundation. I love the Slack channels with various interests that you can join. From what i've experienced, Fetch is also very aware of the importance DEI and offers resources for employees. Our DEI lead is amazing too!
What makes you most happy at work?
Learning new things and sharing that knowledge with others, constantly being challenged. I love seeing my work come to life - I feel really proud of what we are doing here. I also love the taco system! At first I didn't get it, but once it clicked, it's so much fun to rewards your peers with tacos!
