I really like my part time job at Karen's Hallmark, but the pay is laughable. Only $10.10 per hour. I'm retired with a pension and Social Security, otherwise I would not work for this pay.

Customers for the most part are pleasant.

Manager is very friendly. Got hired quickly.

We all get along and will cover shifts for each other if needed.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
We are paid the Ohio minimum wage, which is a joke. We ate expected to do a lot of work, and we are short staffed because no one will work for $10,10 per hour.
