nCino – I've worked at nCino for many years. I've seen it all here. In few works, management is very disconnected from employees, communication is hapless, and transparency is nonexistent. Folks will continue to leave if they are treated as cogs in a chaotic machine whose value is underappreciated. | Comparably

What do you like best about the leadership team?

Not a whole lot right now tbh...

What makes you most happy at work?

Getting to solve problems (as long as middle management bureaucracy and red tape doesn't stop me from doing so)

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

There's a lot of people that work here who do not understand the product, our market, and how to develop high-quality, secure, and accessible software.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

An inflation adjustment. It seems like a lot of companies want me more than nCino as of late. And, I'm exploring leaving the company. I should be paid what I'm worth and I never have been paid fairly since I started here.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

Learning is encouraged. People are kind for the most part. There's definitely a lot of excitement generally, although that's definitely tempered over the last year or so as all of our real wages drop and management is forcing people into the office for no real reason.
