nCino Product Department Employee Reviews

What do you like best about the leadership team?

Leadership Reviews

Even though the company is growing, there is still a strong culture and ways for people to get involved in ways that help to retain a strong sense of community. I don't feel like I'm working in a large corporation.

Review from Product Dept

Customer focused, innovating with technology.

Review from Product Dept

They have a passion for the company and embrace change.

Review from Product Dept

I like the investment in Diversity and Inclusion

Review from Product Dept

They are clear and honest with us! and they have fun with us!

Review from Product Dept

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Leadership Reviews

Walking the walk, not just talking the talk. Don't tell employees that they are excelling/growing/crushing it and then not be prepared to reward them with career/monetary advancement

Review from Product Dept

The company/leadership doesn't seem to value critical team members enough. Salaries/working conditions are not competitive to the market and very talented/experienced people are leaving in droves. Goals/priorities also shift very rapidly which leads to a lot of work being abandoned

Review from Product Dept

Their commitment to returning to work is misguided, and it is clear that the only people who think it's a good idea is the c-suite. Their inability to be flexible with the times in offering wfh options is a sign that weve gotten too big and bloated to be agile.

Review from Product Dept

Follow diversity statements with actions, specifically financial commitments. Don't assume that every single employee feels as strongly about in-office culture, and don't try to force it. We've done amazing stuff remotely for 2 years.

Review from Product Dept

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Compensation Reviews

Medical Insurance is almost fully covered.

Review from Product Dept

Healthcare for the entire family.

Review from Product Dept

The day 1 healthcare coverage for the whole family has been great

Review from Product Dept

We get soooo many benefits!

Review from Product Dept

competitive salary, the amount of paid time off and access to financial wellness professionals.

Review from Product Dept

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Compensation Reviews

I can, and did, get many offers for a similar role that was easily 40k more. I was replaced by two different people after I had asked for a senior promotion.

Review from Product Dept

Based on industry average I do not get paid enough. I have a high role at nCino so it feels like I am at the top of my margin for pay and will only be receiving small raises at my annual review. It makes me feel like there is no more room for my salary to grow.

Review from Product Dept

If we were payed the avg salary of similarly capped companies in the industry, regardless of cost of living.

Review from Product Dept

Cash compensation/base salary is well below market range for numerous positions. There is no way to meaningfully increase your base salary without getting promoted. 3-5% 'merit' raises every year don't cut it and are not going to be good enough to retain talent.

Review from Product Dept

Every person I know from my role who has left the company has left for a significant pay raise. nCino has continually said they plan to publish their research into our compensation vs the market but still hasn't. A quick google search for any position shows that we are underpaid

Review from Product Dept

What are some of the best things about your team?

Team Reviews

The level of commitment to reach our goals and the way the team swarms to help each other out is beyond anything I've ever seen.

Review from Product Dept

Everyone is driven but enjoys having fun.

Review from Product Dept

not only are they hardworking, but they are fun to be around and interact with on a daily basis.

Review from Product Dept

Everyone is always willing to help each other grow and solve problems. Nobody acts like they are better than anyone else and it's genuinely fun to work with my peers

Review from Product Dept

We get along SO well and have so much fun together! there is a lot of trust

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

Environment Reviews

Work life balance. We work hard, but when we have things that need to be taken care of on the home front, everyone accepts and works around those unplanned interruptions in someone's day.

Review from Product Dept

Everyone understands the vision and collaboratively works towards it.

Review from Product Dept

We have a great culture where people care for one another on more than a co-worker basis.

Review from Product Dept

The investment into culture is a huge positive

Review from Product Dept

The people who I work with on a daily basis. And the occasional party, nCino knows how to throw a party

What did you like most about the interview process?

Interviews Reviews

it was very streamline and easy to go through.

Review from Product Dept

It was professional but personable. They wanted to get to know me, not just my experience or technical skills.

Review from Product Dept

It was very personalized and thorough.

Review from Product Dept

It was more of a conversation then an interview.

Review from Product Dept

The ability to showcase my skills and the easy conversation that felt like they really wanted to see if I was a good fit for not only my qualifications, but ability to fit with culture

What makes you most happy at work?

Outlook Reviews

Sense of accomplishment. Achieving goals. Working towards a solution and seeing it launch as a valuable component to our customers.

Review from Product Dept

What makes me most happy is interacting with coworkers.

Review from Product Dept

Working with my team to produce awesome products

Review from Product Dept

I love being able to talk through challenging problems and work with the team on ways we can solve them! its always rewarding to build something meaningful and impactful with your team.

Review from Product Dept

The people I work with and knowing I'm making an impact.

Review from Product Dept

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Outlook Reviews

Pay vs responsibility, role clarity, growth potential. Some stability in what we are asked to own/manage instead of changing it every chance we get

Review from Product Dept

Nobody is being compensated/valued up to their potential. We want to be best in class/ a worldwide leader but don't want to pay the people who are going to get us there. There is also a noticeable gap in communication between departments so 'priorities' always shift & cause chaos

Review from Product Dept

We're in an awkward growth period where we need to refine some processes for longevity, but we're already large enough that any sort of innovative idea is usually shot down because of the overhead. This is driving the people away who have good ideas.
