Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
It feels like I am carrying the load of multiple people's jobs in my one role. I also believe I am paid far less than my peers despite doing a lot of work and bringing a lot of impact for the company

When I noticed that I was drastically underpaid compared to my team, I had to fight to be paid equally. I also highlighted that we were all underpaid compared to the industry standard and had to fight for all of us to get raises. It has also been an actual fight to get recognition and promotions.

Pay us market rate in line with similar roles OR let us work harder to advance faster. If I want to climb my way up the ladder I might as well get paid for it. Many of my friends are leaving for 60%+ pay raises and I'm feeling like I can't advance very fast so its on my mind.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Leadership seems to be trying to keep growth going via lower costs (layoffs/attrition), mandates for higher quality and push for speed. By redefining culture to push for green squares, producing things constantly, and creating a punitive culture for ill-defined lack of quality, it's a losing game.

Culture is inconsistent between departments. I happen to be working in a dumpster fire.

HubSpot's culture around diversity, inclusion, and belonging is idealistic and performative at best. I have had several experiences of microaggressions and other harmful behaviors directed toward me by both colleagues and customers, and HubSpot's response has always been to just assume good intent.
