It's been great. Every company has its issues, and we are no exception. However, I believe we are great at calling those issues out and addressing them. In four years the "honeymoon" has not ended. Time spent at Rapid7, no matter how long, is a rewarding experience for one's career and life.

Transparency and approachability, and our willingness as a company to identify and openly talk about our challenges so we can constantly improve
What is the best part about your compensation package?
The fact that I know genuine thought went into my compensation decision, as with any decision we make here. The equity is quite a nice part of it as well, regardless the current stock price
What are some of the best things about your team?
They're weirdos, and I sincerely love them for that! There may possibly be more astute technical practitioners in some other places, but my team constantly strives to improve, and above all, they're great people, who care about each other and our customers. Nothing but love for my squad.
What did you like most about the interview process?
I liked the fact that my recruiter was with me every step along the process. I also like that I got to speak with so many people within the leadership ranks to get a true feel for how the company runs and what goes into decision making. It had a very personal feel.
What makes you most happy at work?
My team is certainly at the top of that list, but also I'm happy that I am not simply feeding the money grabbing machine. I feel like we are all empowered to make a difference and change the world on behalf of our customers, and that is simply unheard of among publicly traded companies.
