What is the best part about your compensation package?

For starters, my pay essentially doubled from previous employment. The annual bonus and restricted stock units certainly help stiffen the number up as well.

The work life balance is not good. Seems there is a push to "make it work" but when we voice concerns over long-term improvements to make our lives easier, no one seems to listen or allow us to make the necessary changes with the necessary resources.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

9 box. It encourages managers to put all their employees in pre-defined career projections or "boxes". It is terrible. Nobody wants to be in a box. It means some employees get unequal opportunities for growth while others are left to languish. At least, I assume it is 9 Box causing this.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

As a technical contributor, I have no purpose at R7. The only REAL career path is into mgmt. If I want to do technical work, have career growth, there is nothing at R7 for me. For a company selling innovation and tech solutions, R7 doesn't care much about its technology or experienced tech staff
