I've loved working at Rapid7 since I walked through the door. The people are incredible, and the work that they do is second to none. Some points are slower than others, but for the most part this is a fast paced challenging job that pushes me to learn, improve, and bring my best self every day.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The leadership team are all thought leaders, with decades of experience. That experience gives me confidence in their ability to continue to successfully direct this company.
What makes you most happy at work?
Absolutely my fellow co-workers. I have so many people that are not only co-workers, but truly are friends, and they make each day at work feel like it isn't work at all.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The most positive part is the people that make up the company. Rapid7 employs great people plain and simple. My favorite part of my job has and always will be the people I work with.
What are some of the best things about your team?
I think the best part of my team is the shared vision we have. We all are unique individuals with different strengths and weaknesses, but we all come together to help the team achieve the goals we have.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I think more conversations regarding compensation would make me feel better. I've never negotiated compensation with Rapid7, but instead was just told what they would offer me. Giving some room for negotiation would at least make me feel heard.
