I have been with the company for 22 years. I started as a cashier at 16, and throughout the years, there has been numerous members of leadership that saw something in me; they helped me grow into the manager I am today. I make sure to recognize the same potential in my associates.
What makes you most happy at work?
Simply put, my team. Watching my associates grow and succeed
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Elective health benefits fit my needs, and are flexible for those with families added to their plans.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Leadership team asks how we are doing on a personal level, not just pertaining to the business. It makes quality of life easier to achieve with open and honest communicatiion
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
In recent months, the company has shifted towards celebrating the wins, which in the past seemed to be a second thought. It is nice to see what others are doing that work, and also nice to be one of the stores celebrated.
What are some of the best things about your team?
The team does not stop at store level. Within my building, we all have open, and honest communication so we can work together more constructively. District team is also a pleasure to work with, I am constantly reaching out to my peers for advise and best practices. DCT easy to reach as well
