Very much enjoy working at stop & Shop, I get more time with my family although once or twice a month am required to work 6 days which is not enjoyable. Pay is fair, benefits have opportunities. Good people inside the store with long tenure.

Clear expectations, pushing us to higher standards.

Admin team supports one another and has strong communication.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I value that we are trying to help the community where we can, whether it be sustainable waste, partnering with food banks or fundraiser/Donation drives.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Most benefits are lacking such as vacation time and how some can break it up while others cannot, 401k match, Bonus potential. If I were to chose the best thing it would likely be medical plans available.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
zero waste but require a monumental amount of printing everyday for reports that can be viewed on a computer rather than filed into a binder. The systems are outdated, the wifi barely works, the equipment needs an upgrade. A lot of processes that could be streamlined to make it efficient but we dont
