I have been with the company for over 35 years and the first 25 were enjoyable and fulfilling. The last 10 to 12 the company has only been about profit to the board and shareholders. There is a lack of concern for the associates and customers. Remodels are done shoddily.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I honestly can not think of any.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
The lack of quality applicants from the job pool.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
The insurance plan is nice.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
The company needs to invest in its associates by having comprehensive training and a fair wage.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Communicating what the goals of the company are. Less micro managing and allow the stores to sell groceries.
