
Unclear organizational goals. No Mission-to-metrics framework for each employee's work.
Shrink the workforce and replace with better talent at half the volume, increase the pay of the stronger performers, and allow the stronger members of the executive team/senior management to to execute.
There are many good employees at Sunnova. There are far more extremely apathic individuals who only work at Sunnova because the low pay drives off better talent. Either raise pay or create a clear mission.
Employees are asked to dedicate extremely long hours for unclear corporate objectives. The two solutions would be to pay more for the additional time investment or creating objectives and a culture that employees would sacrifice additional pay to work towards.
Leadership has been focused on figuring out how to reduce employee hours. This is somewhat misguided. Leadership should work to establish clear corporate goals that make employees excited to come to work. Currently, the goal is to keep everything afloat, which is unsustainable.
