Scheduling makes it impossible for you to have any other life outside of work, including having a social life, attending family functions, or even having the option to get a second job, which is crucial to survive in today's economy. After 1 year at Walgreens, I am currently seeking employment.
What did you like most about the interview process?
The thoroughness of the expectations.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
The company needs to redirect its attention to the customers and their experience instead of putting more dollars in the CEO's pockets by reducing their current employees' hours and pay.
What are some of the best things about your team?
They are just as dedicated as I am to give the ultimate customer experience; however, because of the mandatory reduction of hours for staff, it is impossible to deliver quality service to our customers.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The teamwork and comradery we share to deliver our manager's expectations. We truly value our customers and love to assist them; however, due to mandatory hour reduction it makes it nearly impossible to help everyone who needs help when they need it.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I am a single woman without children, and I cannot afford a basic one-bedroom apartment on what I make. because of my inconsistent all-over-the-place scheduling requirements, I am unable to commit to a second job. I cannot survive with this company, and I am currently seeking employment elsewhere
