JPMorgan Chase & Co Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

No complaints on the benefits package, company pays well. It's the personal treatment meted out to people that is what causes stress and anxiety.

Review from Sales Dept

Wellness center, perks and discounts for travel such as hotels and rental cars

they value the work you do

The company strives every year to ensure that its employees have the best compensation package year over year.

Pay and benefits of the firm

The money is good you arent broke

The food stamp and the allowances

Review from Customer Support Dept

we all had a bonus

Being fair and clear on the Gross monthly income

Time off including rollover time

Great benefits and great salary.

Review from Operations Dept

Comp is competitive compared to other banks and some tech companies.

The pay is more than fair, health/mental care has been a focus and greatly expanded, and the 401k matching program is excellent. This has been the best job i've ever had!

automatic vacation time upon getting hired. No need to wait years to get seniority. Sick and personal time also included. 401k matching. Stock purchase at a discount.

competitive package in the industry

Were not very competitive in the past, but are getting better

Review from Engineering Dept

The health benefits and stock are good.

Great compensation within the company benefit

The health benefits and other rewards are top notch

Its very conprehensive and affordable

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Compensation to cover costs incurred by employees due to RTO mandates should be provided. Rto mandates cause pay decreases for employees.

Utilize my experience as opposed to being an order taker

The growth of salary can never catch up with the inflation rate

I am not paid on par with Business Analysts that work directly for chase.

Aware of pay ranges and my pay is not in line with feedback on, and my actual, performance

I think the base salary is low for my region. Housing prices here are high. Also for my education they could make my base pay higher.

Better pay and more personal days. As well as bonuses when we meet/exceed the sales quotas that exects are pushing

I am not paid as much as my peers

Lack of work life balance / hostile culture / lack of training / long hours

Pay employees based on their experience and/or education. If you want to attract and retain exceptional personnel, pay them what they are worth.

If they paid comparable to the other big banks in the area. BOA is starting to pay their workers a minimum of $22 in my area. I have been with Chase for 8 years and I will only make $0.22 more than this. Plus people opening envelopes are making the same wages as I do and I handle payments received.

Less salary compare to the compitetors

Stop ranking nationally - you have smaller markets competing against larger markets with more opportunity and only SLIGHTLY higher goals. Tp producers always come fro NY and CA and they compete against bankers in smaller. Not equitable

at least pay me at market rate and hiring folks with lesser skills at higher value

Review from Product Dept

Need to do better to meet employee needs

Well my compensation has not increased much in last 3 years due to frequent confrontation with manager.

Since some managers believe in draconian principles and decides compensation , they offer best hikes to their yes mans ( bootlickers) while employees who work hard fall prey to plagiarism by such managers. Compensation should be task driven

I'm a gay latino man, I know the cards are stacked against me. and JP Morgan does not offer transparency reports to ease these conerns

Employees that have been there a long time do not even get cost of living raises

Better pay, healthcare and work from home when acceptable.
