JPMorgan Chase & Co Environment Employee Reviews

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

Positive part is that you get to work for a powerful brand, good package, learning and tuition reimbursement

Review from Sales Dept

inclusive, they really take care of their employees with real opportunities to move up in the company

Our CEO is the most positive thing about our company. He truly cares about his employees.

They're stable and rarely lay people off.

Many teams work very well together.

Really Good work life balance

Friendly and comfortable environment to work

Review from Customer Support Dept

Learning culture and letting you explore your passions

The most positive about my company is that you can grow is you work hard.

Review from Operations Dept

Always active to do something

The people are always cooperative no office politics.

The job expectations are clear, extra effort is recognized and rewarded, and the management team are helpful and want you to succeed!

Always improving. Leaders empower their employees to make sensible and responsible decisions without sacrificing the firms or our customer's needs.

Its strongly emphasized from day one that one persons success does not mean another's failure. This allows for a really supportive environment between colleagues.

Wish negativity was lesser still

Review from Engineering Dept

friendly and respectful of your person, and personal time.

Very intentional with culture and employee engagement

People are genuine and there is a real commitment to creating a more inclusive culture

People, respect and willingness to help each other

Diversity, equity and inclusion along with trust

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

less politics and clasism, value the people

To respect your colleagues more

Too many cooks in the kitchen. Many teams doing similar work and there are too many dependencies.

Company should be more transparent about their plans

Get rid of the current team lead. The current team lead is a bully and even treats the manager horribly.

stop being so liberal and sensitive

Pick the best person for the job - people see what is going on and it is not equitable. Nobody is fooled by the promotion and hiring practices

be fair to employees, transparency/honesty is very important

Review from Product Dept

employees are not numbers and customers are not for taking advantage of

Replace middle management with dynamic leaders . Promote existing employees

Make the organisation a more flat one. Remove old people who are here for more than 15 years and yet contribute nothing

Get proper training from people that will actually help you do well in your job. As a new manager, you should be trained by other members of management (blow my mind that this isn't how it's done here).

Bring back autonomy, get with the times and allow for tech roles to be remote

Better regional and market managers unless the push is coming from the top to demand more from us

Give people meaningful work to do.

Proper comp packages would facilitate staff retention. Holding onto people would mitigate rework/retraining/churn and burn. The amount of work our teams are doing right now to buff out the fact we lost 80% of our team to turnover in the past year is utter nonsense.

Review from Design Dept

reward the people accordingly, stop overloading people

Toxic management Need to be revamped. Get some managers from tech companies. HR needs to take control of Human resource. TEch folks who do not understand HR drive the HR activities. In the name of HR we just have a request portal where there is no human touch for HR related queries

Too much is being thrown at the lower level employees. Top leaders are changing too rapidly and expect too much. Almost impossible to keep up sometimes.

Less burocratic and more tech people
