No holiday party. You get two drink coupons and some appetizers- if you are lucky! They don’t get you a pizza lunch... cheap, cheap,cheap !

It’s hard to say. So many departments are growing
Consumer is growing fast. Trading Markets business has slowed.
Compiling with government regulations wasn't one of the fastest. Not sure was part was having difficulties.

People pretty much love the CEO. It depends on what lines of business you are in. Management has it pros and cons.
Jamie Diamond is great
Employees have a lot of respect for Jamie Dimon. He's almost a "rock-star" CEO. He's a great speaker and employees were very enthusiastic whenever he had his town halls.

I was able to keep up with my work even though I was busy. Admins for some lower level managers weren't so busy all the time.

They are awesome couldn’t ask for a better group
Each person usually is concerned with doing their job. Not much social interactions in many areas.

What's the interview process like at JPMorgan Chase & Co?
Mine was great. Heather Mchone made me feel like I was part of the group before I was evened hired
Usually had to interview with many people from different areas of the bank even if the job wasn't in their area in addition to the hiring manager. Each people would then write out an evaluation of the person being interviewed. The hiring manager and his manager would review all the evaluations.
It takes too long, even for internal candidates to get interviews. By the time they call many wonderful candidates already have other jobs.
If you could make changes, how would you improve the culture at JPMorgan Chase & Co?
They got rid of most of the ABMs and replaced them with LTOs, but yet the LTOs do not get the year end bonus but the ABMs do. Plus the ABMs get a higher quarter bonus Whn the LTOs do more work because there only a few ABMs left
The atmosphere is so competitive that it can be very draining and exhausting. In the area where I work we were told that the requirements would be getting tougher for promotions. Working 110 percent wasn't enough. We had to give more.
Award people more on merit and not for politically correct or PR reasons.

If your in the right click
Promotions can be hard to come by and are very competitive. Easier to get promoted if you come into company under a training program out of college.
It's very political. It certainly is not based simply on performance.
How's the vacation policy at JPMorgan Chase & Co?
Great
Vacation policy is standard to other companies. Non-exempt employees start with 2 weeks vacation and exempt employees start with 3 or 4 weeks depending on their job title.
Generous. Most workers in professional roles get 1 month of vacation.

3 weeks to start, prorated when starting. Given at beginning of year. Use or lose. Higher positions usually get a little more, but unsure of what amounts. I believe it's also based on tenure

It depends on your manager. There is a policy for working from and a flexible work agreement, but it has to be approved and signed off by your senior management.
