There are far too many things to list. Your customer service is on the other side of the world and they are horrible at their jobs. You play with peoples money for days on in-house account to account transactions. Everything about what you do is wrong.

What's the pay like for Engineering roles at JPMorgan Chase & Co?
The pay in the engineering department in the west coast is in the lower 50th percentile. JPMorgan tends to scoop up boot camp grads but has an extremely hi turnover. Engineers are frequently offered close to double their JPMorgan salary within 6months. JPMorgan “promotes” from within the company but does not offer pay raises (this is done on a different system). JPMorgan does not attempt to hire senior engineers because they salary wouldn’t come close than market rate.
It’s comparable to other banks, but raises are not great.
How secure do you feel at your job at JPMorgan Chase & Co?
Not too
I went through a couple of reorganizations and down sizings and was able to get new positions in the company. It was just part of the culture.

Ok
It's a very large and powerful company. I think they will continue to do well in the future no matter what direction they take.

Some areas of the bank do hire employee who work from home and some areas are generous about working remotely occasionally.
JPMC is moving away from remote work and is requiring most workers to be with 50 miles of a work location.

In the engineering department they claim to offer everyone an opportunity to grow vertically and or horizontally. Unfortunately this never seems to be the case. However, the last three employees that left JPMorgan all received emails from upper management offering new job titles and a choice of what project or team they wished to be on. Basically you have to resign for JPMorgan to offer you a growth opportunity.
How innovative is JPMorgan Chase & Co?
They are trying, a lot of the new stuff is really cool, but it’s it’s on very old architecture, which causes a lot of problems.
